Crimson Court is a parallel campaign experienced alongside the main Darkest Dungeon content that will provide you with new challenges and variation at every difficulty level. It'd be a different story if you had to actually pay for the content.Darkest Dungeon®: The Crimson Court is the first expansion for the award-winning grim and gothic RPG by Red Hook Studios. There's no sense discussing the 'worth' of freebies when you can just let everyone take them or leave them. It's just there for people who like the concept. There's no obligation to play it and it has no impact on your PvE campaign. I had great fun with it at the start and then left it when my interest waned. They are also very slightly different in PvE, and I believe have some differences in PvP, so not entirely a carbon-copy.īutcher's Circus is up to the individual. I'm one of many who prefer her look, sounds, and animations. Musketeer is a backer-rendition of the Arbalest. They're just there for whoever wants to use them. "Worth" typically implies some kind of cost, but the two DLC you are referring to are entirely free and entirely optional, so "worth" doesn't apply. Everything else though adds solid value and content to the main game for sure. Arguably Butcher and Musket being the exceptions (Butcher just adds PvP with is very hit or miss, and Musket is basically just an Arb skin). Shield Breaker is a good assassin and comes with a micro-injection of extra content. Originally posted by RopeDrink:All the DLC is worth it.
